About Event

A changing world demands courage, flexibility, and… up-to-date skills. And the energy sector – like no other – is now at the very heart of these transformations. In the face of energy transition, automation, the development of renewables, and growing pressure for sustainability, employers’ needs are shifting rapidly. Are universities and technical schools keeping up with these expectations? What should education look like if it’s truly meant to prepare young people for the future?

We will seek answers to these questions during the Energy Conference, which will take place on April 14 at the Main Building of the Warsaw University of Technology.

The main highlight of the event will be the Round Table, bringing together representatives of:
• power companies, equipment manufacturers, and contractors,
• the academic and educational community,
• central administration – including the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Ministry of National Education.

The goal of the debate is to develop concrete recommendations for changes in curricula – ones that reflect current and future labor market needs.
It’s the voice of real demands – collected, analyzed, and passed on.

The recommendations prepared by the moderator will be reviewed by participants and then submitted to central administration as a joint position of the industry community.

🎓 Why is this event featured on the student movement website?

Because it’s about us. Because it’s our future being shaped – not behind closed doors, but at a shared table.
Students in technical and engineering fields are future employees, leaders, and innovators of the energy sector.
Our voice, our presence, and our engagement are essential – not only as observers but as active participants in change.

We are publishing this event because we believe in the impact young people can have on shaping reality.
Because changes in education programs shouldn’t happen without the involvement of those most affected by them.
We want every student who envisions a future in the energy sector to know that a conversation is happening – about their skills, their chances on the job market, and their role in the energy transformation process.

We believe that a conscious, educated, and responsible student is the future of this industry – and that’s exactly why we invite you to follow and actively take part in the event.
