An engineer, a visionary, and the man who made history as the first Pole to complete the Mille Miglia.

Some people were born to drive. It’s not just about speed—it’s about movement, about constantly seeking new challenges, new roads, and new possibilities. Tadeusz Wesołowski is one of those people.

An engineer who threw himself into the world of business. A driver who broke barriers and put Poland on the map of motorsport’s elite. A true enthusiast who doesn’t believe in final destinations.

Some sit back in their chairs, reminiscing about past achievements. He prefers to look toward the horizon. Because there’s always something new waiting around the next bend.

When we think of motorsport legends, we picture burning rubber on racetracks, classic cars racing through the Alps or across desert landscapes. But the story of Tadeusz Wesołowski is something more—it’s the story of a man who raced not only on the track, but through life itself.

A graduate and lecturer at the Warsaw University of Technology, an engineer with a passion for precision mechanics, he transformed his technical expertise into a lifelong devotion to automobiles. Over the years, he gained experience as a scientist and later as a businessman, but cars remained his greatest love.

Mille Miglia 2010 – The Pole Who Made Racing History

There are races that matter more than others. Mille Miglia is one of them. It’s not just 1000 miles through Italian roads – it’s a return to the times when cars had soul, drivers risked everything, and the history of motoring was written in real time.

It was there, in 2010, that Tadeusz Wesołowski became the first Pole to complete this legendary race. At the wheel of a classic Jaguar XK 140 roadster, he traversed a route once raced by legendary drivers. It wasn’t just about speed, but endurance – of both the machine and the man.

“I must admit that I’ve always had a special affection and sentiment for vintage cars, but my dreams only came true in the year 2000.”

Anyone who has ever dreamed of classic motoring knows what Mille Miglia is. It’s Italian dolce vita on four wheels. Only selected models are allowed to start, and every car must have a historical pedigree. You can’t just walk in – you have to earn your place.

Tadeusz Wesołowski didn’t just show up. He won – not on paper, but in the hearts of every Polish automotive enthusiast.

Peking to Paris 2013 – The Rally That Separates Dreamers from Legends

Mille Miglia was a challenge. But Peking to Paris is a whole different level. 12,000 kilometers, 33 days, the deserts of Mongolia, the Siberian mud, and a 60-year-old Jaguar XK150.

This isn’t a rally for those who want smooth roads and air-conditioned cockpits. It’s a rally for those who know that sometimes you have to sleep on the hood of your own car and hope the engine starts the next morning.

“It’s no great feat to cover such a route in an American or Australian car that was made for the outback. The real achievement is completing this rally in a British sports car that was meant to cruise on smooth UK asphalt.”

The first Polish entry into this rally couldn’t have been more spectacular. Wesołowski and Piotr Lubaczewski sped through a world that wasn’t ready for a stylish British roadster. In these conditions, what mattered wasn’t just driving skill, but also engineering knowledge and the ability to deal with any breakdown.

“The car had to undergo a full inspection. Many parts were replaced. We also had to fill out dozens of documents.”

Tadeusz Wesołowski wasn’t just a participant. He was a pioneer.

This experience proved that Poles are capable of competing at the highest level, even in the most extreme races.
Not just a driver – a man who never stops
It’s not enough just to drive. You also have to know where you’re going.

Tadeusz Wesołowski is not only a man behind the wheel. He’s also an engineer, lecturer, entrepreneur, and investor. In the pharmaceutical industry, he achieved success that allowed him to invest in new ventures. His support for modern medical technologies and biotechnology enabled Polish startups to spread their wings.
He is also a sailor. In the Rolex Fastnet Race, as a member of the Ocean Challenge Yacht Club, he showed that speed is not just about four wheels, but also wind and waves.
He doesn’t stop. He’s always looking toward the next challenge, the next kilometers waiting to be conquered.

What’s next? Because this story isn’t over.
Some people slow down at some point. Tadeusz Wesołowski keeps pushing forward.
He still appears at classic rally routes, advises younger generations of drivers, and proves that passion is something that never fades.

“It doesn’t matter how old you are or what you’ve done so far. What matters is which road you take next.”

What will be the next challenge? One thing is certain – the story is still being written.
