Festival of Academic Artistic Youth FAMA 1967
The poster announcing the 2nd Festival of Academic Artistic Youth FAMA, held in Świnoujście from July 1 to 14, 1967, was designed by Jerzy Wojciech Rudziński. The dominant graphic element is a monumental letter “F,” constructed from horizontal, irregular white lines on a black background, resembling a hand-drawn sketch. Inside the letter, the festival’s name is displayed in four colors—yellow, blue, green, and red—symbolically emphasizing the diversity of artistic expression and the vibrant energy of the young creative community. The minimalist design and high-contrast color palette give the poster a modern, graphic character, typical of the Polish School of Poster Art of the 1960s. The composition is restrained yet dynamic, exceptionally legible, and strongly identifies the event.
